2008 TOUR DE GEORGIA
STAGE TWO
Well I guess ya'll can tell I ain't making a living at this website stuff, can't ya? No sponsors, no logos, nothing but having a good time. I do occasionally sell some photos to climbing magazines, adventure outdoor magazines, classic car outlets and have published a climbing guide that did o.k. But if I had to depend on following bicycle racing to make a living I would have to make some major changes to how I approach this deal. Thus, my real money making business called me away on an emergency for the day of stage two.
Carol and I left the stage one finish and rode the motorcycles to Augusta where we had a room booked at the Marriott Suites. Our room offered a view of the river, the fountain, the cycling team area and the finish line. I had to bolt way early the next morning and left the Carol in charge. I left her a digital SLR to shoot the finish of Stage Two and the following press conference. I think she did very well without me. I hope ya'll like the shots she got for you.
