MISSION STATEMENT:
The Hall County Amateur Radio Emergency Service has been organized to aid the public of Hall County and surrounding communities. Our mission is to develop and maintain the leadership and organizational structure necessary to provide radio communications support to emergency management agencies and other public service agencies as any need arises. We strive to enhance the reliability, quality and professionalism of emergency communications not only in our community, but wherever we are called to assist. This commitment is being fulfilled through the establishment of training and performance standards, policies, procedures and supervision of amateur radio operators registered with this organization.

WHAT ACTIVATES US INTO SERVICE:
1. When conventional communications are inadequate to meet the needs for public safety or humanitarian relief.
2. When Amateur Radio resources may help facilitate response or recovery in any emergency service.
3. When human suffering can be relieved.
4. When Amateur Radio resources may help with activities performed for the good of the general public.
5. Whenever and wherever it becomes necessary, so no community goes without essential communication.
