CNC ROUTED SIGNS

     The integration of the CAD/CAM CNC router into the sign industry has been one of my favorite innovations in my lifetime of manufacturing signs.  I really enjoy programming and operating these machines.  The number of tasks that this tool can be used for is staggering.  At Crowder Signs, our CNC router has virtually replaced our jig saw, band saw, planer, hand held routers and more.

     The router is regularly used to cut plywood, Plexiglas, PVC, Solid Surface Material, aluminum, brass, bronze, and High Density Urethane Foam.  There are very few projects that go through the shop these days in which the router doesn't play an integral part.

    With the full three dimensional capabilities from our ArtCam Pro software package, we have even replaced traditional sandblasting with CNC routing.  We can drop in any background texture a client desires from wood to stone and simulate them at a reasonable price.
