MORE STAGE 5
Having a world class peloton come riding past your house is not an everyday experience. It is one of those things I will always remember. Almost every time I turn out of the driveway heading for the mountains I get a little kick out of the fact that my daily ride has been ridden by folks like Lance, Super Mario, George and lots of other heavy hitters of international cycling.
As the pack came through being pulled by the United States Postal train I was in awe. This race has the potential to put United States stage racing back on the international cycling map. If you get the chance you have to come down south for the next installment of this fine race. After the cyclists came through we saddled our ponies (all Dodge vehicles of course) and headed to a hill that took many of the riders by surprise. Can you say Suffer Fest?
