Caving is one of those sports that requires a strong commitment to safety first.  The underground  environment is dark, wet and fraught with unseen dangers.  Loose rock, low ceilings and bottomless pits await the unprepared.  Do not ever go into a cave without proper instruction and equipment.  The logistics for initiating a cave rescue are astronomical so please be careful as the rescuers are in more danger than the victim.    Enjoy this tour of Southeastern Caving.  We will not reveal the location of any caves on this page.  If you are interested in caving contact the National Speleological Society at www.caves.org or your local Grotto.

Caving is inherently dangerous and we are not responsible for anyone's use of this information.  The following information is provided for entertainment purposes only.  Please seek qualified instruction before attempting this sport.  I really hate all these disclaimers but when you provide info on dangerous things you have to cover your butt.
