STAGE 6
When the riders got to the finish in Alpharetta it was a battle for the sprinters. Domina Vacanze set up to lead out Mario Cipollini who had his sights set on winning this stage. Juan Jose Haedo was hot on Chipo's wheel with Gordon Fraser sitting close on his rear. As they neared the finish Chipo was eating as much road as he could to keep anyone from passing him but Juan and Gordon found a hole and blasted through with Gordon inching out Juan for the stage win.
