APPROPRIATE DEFENSE EQUIPMENT
So you have decided to add armed security to your church, what kind of guns do we use? Too often I work with churches to discover majority of thier in-house security is carrying a mix of 380 acp pocket pistols and compact carry 9mm's. So now you have something but like multiple events of late your intruder shows up wearing body armor and carrying a high capacity rifle. Are your security people going to win or just be the first victims? In this case only divine help may aid your team in winning the day. We are going to cover recomended firearms in depth as time allows but you need to consider at mix of security with full size duty weapons and possibly a rifle in a lock box at handy location. The above link shows the author firing twenty rounds from a rifle he acquired totally legally after an in store background check and a $200 tax stamp and background check from BATFE. Most active shooters were upstanding citizens and passed all background checks right up to the point they decided to cross the line. There are thousands of these rifles in cirrculation, if one enters your church and your team has little pocket pistols it will be bad without safe cover or body armor. BTW, author is wearing body armor under his shirt in above video that stops all handgun rounds.
