Unfortunately we feel ballistic barriers in key high risk locations of any church are absolutely necessary. Most important is protecting children behind locked, force entry rated doors and some safe areas to retreat in event of active shooter. There should be safe areas security and staff can direct as many people as possible that have at least handgun resistant ballistic materials. Barriers where church security can take cover to engage active threats from are a advantage as a dead security guard is useless. Many times the paster is primary target and we build and add armor packeages to a variety of pulpits in wide range of ballistic rated designs. If an active shooter ends up firing all rounds at pastor with no effect till gun is empty then your in a much better position. We can even do these in clear polycarbonates that look just like the clear acrylic pulpits that are so popular these days. Where these locations are should be a well guarded secret that only staff and church security know of. To God be the Glory, lets keep our congregations safe.

Ballistic materials can be very easy to impliment and we will not show photographs of actual items we have installed online to protect the people using them. We can also provide a list of other vendors than our company as in past have really only worked locally and not equipped to work much outside of the North Georgia area unless its providing items that can be shipped such as pulpits. We will give any advice we can and many of these materials can be installed by most handi-men or contrators. Have even seen church members install bsllistic fiberglass on church work days.
