Unfortunately we now live in a world where protection from random or purposely placed bullets by craized people is absolutely necessary. Modern body armor ranges from the very discrete and comfortable to medium size overt military/police kits and full on door kicking SWAT entry kits where the first person or two through the door are likely to get shot. Following the 2015 Parris nightclub and downtown terrorist shootings along with more frequent similar instances happening in the U.S.A. the webmaster here has gone from occasional wear to daily wear of covert body armor. We just do not know where or when the next horrific event may happen so I choose to wear a typical lightweight vest that is rated to stop most handgun threats just in case. Ballistic materials can be very easy to impliment into structures and can make our homes and work places much safer from unexpected violence.
