This LRB XM-21 10 dot rifle is still Master and Commander of the herd. Custom built by Lou and his crew at Bula Defense Systems over 10 years ago, she still holds the 10 dot challenge record set 5/2/2015 of 14 in a row. Barrel is a Kreiger 1:11 twist heavy stainless steel with mostly TRW parts set in a JAE Chassis by Lou's crew. From date of order to receipt of rifle it took just about 16 months and worth every second. It is perched on a Atlas bipod with mono-pod under butt and topped with a Night Force ATACR 5-25x 56mm F1. We have direct links to many of the parts and you can click on all photos for a larger view.

THE LRB XM-21 TEN DOT CHALLENGE RIFLE

Above targets from a morning session. Practiced for 10 dot after warm up on a dirty bird target. Ammo was the boring 136 Berger Flat Base customs in DAG cases over 45 grains of Varget. Load data is only for informational purposes, work up your loads per recommendation of a good manual

A DAY OF PRACTICE WITH THE 10 DOT CHALLENGE RIFLE

Got out for 40 rnds with the LRB-XM21 10 Dot Challenge rifles this morning. Sure do need some work on my trigger finger. Tirst target is 10 rounds out of the 40 at 100 and this was the best. 136 gn fb over 45 gn of Varget in Dag cases. 1.5" max with an average of just under .75. Not the equipment's fault. Shooter is shaky. Settled down, second target is 10 rounds at 100 and third is 200 yards prone.

SOME PRACTICE WITH THE LRB XM-21 TEN DOT

Got out for a few minutes and ran 40 rounds through one of my 10 dot rifles. Shot from the mag loaded 10 rnds at a time. Ammo 136 gr fb over 45 gr of Varget in a DAG berdan case. Shot off my 3 legged portable bench. Didn't get down prone this morning which should have tightened the group up a bit. All in all, it was fun. Photo of group was the 3rd and best group of 4 shot today.

BLOWING THE DUST OUT OF THE LRB M-25 TEN DOT RIFLE

Had some fun shooting this morning. Started out with the 6.5 Creedmore and got bored so switched over to my .308 Bula 10 dot rifle for some trigger pull practice. 10 rnds at 100 yds into .70 moa. Not to shabby for an old fat dude eh? The X was left unmolested intentionally as an aimpoint. 2 clicks right and 2 clicks up would put her in the money.

Completely broke down the Bula Defense Systems .308 10 dot rifle for service. Scope off, rifle out of chassis and complete disassembly including bolt and trigger group. Recut the chamber to M118 specs using a new M118 carbide pull through finish reamer. Cleaned the gas system and gave the rifle a general full scrubbing , lube and reassembly. First target is the first ten rounds from the rifle. Cold clean bore and in the mid 30s outside temperature. Ammo is handload 136 gr custom flat base bullets over 45 gr of Varget in DAG berdan cases. POI shifted 1moa up and 1/2 moa right. First two shots are the two low at 5 oclock for an overall 1 moa group. The second two targets are the last eight rounds left in the magazine and are in a 1/2 MOA group.
