While it gets crazy enough when the television cameras start broadcasting it gets even wilder if a celebrity comes on the block. The Barrett-Jackson folks also offer a complimentary bidders bar which keeps many of the bidders well lubricated. Let someone get a few drinks in them and in close proximity to a television celebrity then they will hock the farm to buy something they don't really need.
