BRECKENRIDGE

Breckenridge Colorado has some of the best and most varied terrain of any slope I have visited.  The only draw-back to this area is it's close proximity to Denver.  On holidays and weekends it can become quite crowded.  Weekdays are peaceful bliss.  From big bowls to moguls, trees or the ski park you can find what you want.

I personally like Peak 8, the Back Bowls and anything serviced by the T-Bar lift.  There is never a long line on the T-Bar even when every other lift is slammed.  Beware there is no easy way down from this lift.  Peak 9 seems to be the most popular and crowded.  The new runs on the recently opened peak 7 are great for intermediate skiers with one fantastic black diamond tree run called "Ore Bucket".
