Kraut basically pulled this event out of his hat with minimal help. he found the venue, organized all the logistics, advertised and got all the details covered with the help of the club. All while working every day as this happened during his busy season at work so he was stretched to the max as was his chain. When the chain snapped the team realized they didn't have a spare and his big monster does not use just any chain. The only person with a spare on the propert was his primary competitor who could have said sorry and loaded his bike for the win without a run but instead he loaned Kraur a chain and gave him time to fix the bike so the race could be finsihed between two men on the dirt instead of a technicality.
