GOT GUIDES?
Over the years I have been fortunate enough to afford guides when traveling without a partner. Most have been competent, some have been excellent and a few have performed quite poorly. I actually hired a guide in Montana that was supposed to be one of the best in the business and his service was so poor that I have trash talked him ever since.
In an effort to help climbers find high quality guides 'Biners Climbing Guides will only recommend highly experienced climbers who "happen to guide" not tour guides that "happen to climb". We are not an A.M.G.A. affiliated or a full time group of guides. What we are is a group of lifestyle climbers that have more experience individually than the entire staff of some services. We don't have a store, cabins, T-shirts or jackets with printed logos. Our gear is well worn but safe and we probably need a shave and a shower. Just poor dirtbag climbers trying to pick up enough cash for our next adventure.
Our goal is to provide climbers at any skill level the trip of a life-time. Although we are not a climbing school per se, we can still accommodate first time climbers along with the seasoned veteran. We comfortize the experience to the max for the new climber and can teach advanced skills to even the expert climber. Easy or hard, we can give you the game you want. We will even scare the crap out of you if you want. If you really want to blow some cash we can also provide professional outdoor photographers and/or videographers to record your adventure.
'Biners Guide Service is a referral based system. All guides are independent contractors. All guides are reviewed by me, Michael, personally. They must meet my standards for professional ethics and performance. That means they can throw down on anything, anywhere and anytime. They might not be able to read or hold a job but dang can they climb. Everyone I recommend has at least 20 years of personal experience. No kids just trying to make some extra cash by living their dream through your pocketbook. I don't make a dime unless I do the guiding.
We have staff capable of guiding anywhere in the world. From the Granite Domes of N.C., the Ice of New England, to South America and Europe. Our staff knows both the Front Range and the Western Slope like the backs or their hands. We are the Da Bomb for Southern Ice. Our guides invented ice climbing in the south and continue to redefine it constantly.
Whatever your goals please feel free to contact us to see if we have a staff member to suit your needs. From fantasy adventure to hard-man trauma we got you covered. biners@crowderinc.com will find me and then I can put you with your chosen instrument of torture.
