SALINE

     Saline solution is a must have for the medical kit.  From an I.V. bag to a small bottle for rinsing eyes, contact lenses and wounds it is a very versatile item and is super cheap.  These folks have a nice definition and description of saline.  You can find a couple of handy saline products here.  I personally just carry a bottle of whatever brand I find cheapest in the contact lens department at a local drug store and leave the I.V. at home except for when going to South America.
