SWISS FOOD
The food in Switzerland is the best you will find anywhere. Their traditional dishes are exquisite and they have perfected the specialties of almost every other country as well. The only food we have not been able to find in this country is Mexican. They do French, Italian and German food as well as their originators. The pastries are so good that I dream about them on regular basis. They have some of the strictest food handling laws on the planet so you are always sure that your meal was prepared in the cleanest of kitchens. Every hotel we have stayed in Switzerland had a breakfast bar that makes the breakfast served at 99.9% U.S.A. hotels fall totally out of competition with the first croissoint. The dinners are beyond description starting with multiple chefs coming at apropriate times to discuss your meal. While you will have a choice of a few sou[s to start with before anything is served someone will ask if you have any food sensitivity, allergies or particular dislikes so nothing you want is ever sat before you. After soup is your appetizer followed by the main course then a desert which will rival if not beat the finest French competition. While we do not drink have been told the wine is stunning as well and the reason the Swiss are not world renown for wine like France is because they export so little of their wine because they keep it for Swiss to drink.
