With all of the stuff going at Le Tour you get so caught up in the circus like atmosphere that you can almost forget what it is really all about. Almost. When the riders start getting close the crowd goes nuts and you can feel the electricity flowing. The roar is deafening with folks shouting and beating the barricades. When the pack comes by the wind coming off of them feels like a semi just blew by. The speeds the sprinters are churning when they come across the line is just downright amazing.
