AR 15 TORQUE VALUES
I am always still surprised to see folks at the range or in gun shop having issues with their AR 15 built on the kitchen table with a $20 armorers wrench and no other specialty tools especially a torqe wrench. While it can be done I have never seen anyone build a engine or other precision mechanical device without adhering to a set of standard values especially the torque value of fasteners. I use two to three torque wrenches per AR 15 build but suprising to many on my preccision 10/22 builds I need a minimum of four torque wrenches as have to delve into the inch/ounce range on some of the finer parts. While a milspec AR 15 has a fairly wide rorque range for some fastens but have houng is some of these are refined even more accuracy can be optimized.

A GOOD SET OF SHOP MANUALS IS MANDATORY
After years of building and repairing uppers along with complete firearms we have realized some people either do not want to build their upper, invest in the required tools for a single custom AR 15 or AR 10 upper, or have built one that has issues and can't seem to sort it out to thier satisfaction. While I have a full time job plus a part time job working as a gunsmith I also build and repair uppers to the clients specifications. If your interested in having a custom AR upper built then please use below email and we will work up a price for a top quality upper built to your specifications or repair your troubled upper whether gas driven or piston driven. I only work on uppers through this site but if have a complete rifle that needs trigger tuning or other work I can provide you with the contact information for the gunshop I do all FFL required work through.
