AR 15 PISTON BUILD PAGES

Gas fed or piston drive is a hotly debated subject among many AR fans. Personally I prefer the tradional D.I. system except in certain applications. As AR's get smaller wheter its an SBR or AR pistol the combination of short gas systems, short buffers, especially when used with a suppressor can cause a lot of dirty gas to be forced back through the system. This can cause guns to run dirty, hot and blow gasses in operators face. For these AR pistol builds I chose Superlative Arms piston kits due to expeience with their direct impingement blocks and venting all excess gasses out the front of the block, not into action and operators face.
