CHICKEN LITTLE "GOES TO WORK"
Chicken little is fast becoming an international phenomenon. I am getting email from all around the world asking how he is doing. He now gets about as many visitors at the shop as I do. In fact, he had some folks drive over from Alabama to visit recently. He is continuing to do well and really enjoys shop life. We give him just enough work to keep him from getting bored but not so much as to cause him any stress. A stressed out chicken would probably be a bad thing. His forte seems to be twisting wrenches. He has become quite the motorcycle mechanic. He also enjoys working on vintage Mopars.
He really likes it when I roll his cage out on the loading dock for his morning break. At first he runs around and cackles, then he eats a hearty breakfast. When the sun starts to get nice and warm he lays down in the sunshine and takes a nap. Until recently I had never seen him lay down. When the weather got warm enough to start leaving the cage outside for any amount of time I happened to look out to check on him. He was laid out in the bottom of his cage and looked like he was dead as a door nail. I kind of freaked out and hollered his name kind of loud. He hopped right up and started looking around to see what had me all excited. Whew!!! Keep checking back to see how this saga unfolds.
