Griffin Falls: Sport
From Chattanooga take I-59 to Hwy. 68. Follow 68 West until you see the cliffline. After you cross bridge take left on dirt road and look for parking area on right just past wood bridge.
Sand Rock: Trad/Sport/Retro bolted Trad
From Atlanta take I-75 North to Hwy. 20/411. Follow 411 west through Cave Springs, GA and Center, ALA. to Leesburg. Go right on Hwy. 68 up the mountain and turn left on County Rd. 36 past the Town Of Sand Rock Sign. Turn Left on County Rd. 70 (large sign for Cherokee Rock Village) and follow up the mountain staying right when necessary.
Georgia
Boat Rock: Bouldering
From I-285 take Fulton Industrial Blvd. south. Turn Left on Boat Rock Rd.
Currahee Mountain: Trad/Sport
From Atlanta take I-85 North to 985 North. Continue North on 985 until it changes to 365/441 North. Exit right on 365/17 and go to the bottom of the hill and turn right on Hwy. 123 at the first light. Go 2.3 miles and turn left on Forrest Service Rd. 62 just before Millikan Plant. Follow rough dirt rd. two miles up the hill to parking area at towers.
Lost Wall: Traditional
From Lafayette go North on Hwy. 193 and turn left on Chamberlain Rd. Take Chamberlain approximately 3 miles to a right on Rocky Lane (Gravel). Follow Rocky Lane u p the hill for about 1.8 miles to park in the fourth switchback.
Rock Town: Bouldering/Top roping
Same as for Lost Wall except continue up Rocky Lane to first right then take left at sign for rock town. Follow obvious trail one mile.
Tallulah Gorge: Traditional/Aid
From Atlanta Take I-85 North to the 985 split. Follow 985 North until it changes to 365/441 staying on 441 until you cross the dam separating the Gorge from the lake. Take first right to interpretive center where all climbers must register.
Mount Yonah: Trad/Sport/Aid/Ice
From Cleveland take Hwy. 75 North for approximately 4 miles. Just past Yonah Mountain Camp Ground take right on first dirt rd. this road is closed to non-residents so park on power line right-of-way and walk 2.7 miles up the dirt road to old parking lot.
North Carolina
Crowders Mountain: Traditional
From Gastonia take US 29/74 South to left on Sr 1122 Whiteside Rd. and follow the signs.
Whitesides: Traditional/Aid/Ice
From highlands, N.C. take Hwy. 64 East for approximately 5 miles and take right on Whiteside Mountain Rd. Parking lot is on left and is well marked.
Tennessee
Fiery Gizzard A.K.A. Fosters falls: Sport/Retro Bolted Trad
From Chattanooga take I-24 west and exit at the Roy Acuff Inn (TN 28). then take Tn 150/Us 441 through Jasper and towards Tracey City. Look for sign and turn left a little ways past the Mountain Mart.
Suck Creek: Traditional
From Chattanooga take Hwy. 27 North then exit onto Hwy. 127, Signal Mtn. Rd., and follow the signal mt. signs. Take left on Hwy. 27, Suck Creek Rd, about five miles up Suck Creek rd. there will be a pull- off for the Upper Passes area and the pull off for the Road side Wall is at six and a half miles. Down the hill and cross the creek to gain access to cliffs.
Sunset Park: Traditional
From Atlanta take I-75 North to I-24 West into chattanooga. Bear right on Hwy. 27 North and take the lookout Mountain exit (#178). Go through two stop signs to left at light onto Broad St. Keep right and Broad St. changes to Hwy. 41. Turn left on the South Scenic Hwy. (Hwy. 148). look for Ruby Falls signs. Go up the mountain until the road forks (ballfield) and go right on West Brow Rd. Parking lot is on left and has only 5 long term parking spaces. If lot is full Park at Point Park or use church lot back down the hill.
T-Wall: Traditional/Sport
From Chattanooga take Hwy. 27 North then exit onto Hwy. 127, Signal Mtn. Rd., and follow the signal mt. signs. Take left on Hwy. 27, Suck Creek Rd, Cross bridge and take an immediate left on River canyon rd. If you start going up the mountain past the river you have missed your turn. Follow River canyon Rd. for about six miles to gravel parking on left. the trail is about 100 ft. before the pull-off.
