UROS

      Our first peak to climb in Peru was Urus.  At almost 18,000 ft. it is a great acclimatization peak.  From base camp in  Ishinka valley you must first grunt up 2,000 ft. of steep and rocky trail.  When you hit the snowline there is then another 2,000 ft. of moderate to steep snow climbing to the summit.
