MORE STAGE 6

Trent Lowe of Jittery Joe's won the best young riders jersey with no one else even in contention.  This young mountain biker turned roadie turned in the most impressive ride in the entire race.  My opinion is that he did more than any other rider in the field considering his background.  He came out of nowhere, riding part time for a small local hometown team and stayed with the big boys of international cycling the entire race.  He was in the mix on every stage hanging tough even in the mountains.  This kid has a future in road racing if he will just figure out that bike racing is about the road.  Sure mountain biking is fun but the road is where the money is.  Trent was always around with a big goofy grin and would stay after each stage as long as someone wanted to talk to him.  Look for a big name team to sign him for next season.  The Jittery Joe's director knows this and seems proud to be able to develop new talent to send up the ranks.
